Who is Maria Borrallo?

Supernanny Maria's full name is Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo.

She is in her 40s and comes from Palencia in Spain.

Bowler hat-wearing Maria joined the royal household in 2014 when Prince George was just eight months old.

Maria trained at the prestigious Noreland College, making her one of the most sought-after nannies in the country.

She can often be seen taking the kids to the Round Pond in Kensington Palace, just a stone’s throw from her live-in quarters with the family.

Her private area at Kensington Palace includes a bedroom, lounge, kitchenette and bathroom.

What is a Noreland Nanny?

The Noreland College is located in Bath and is known around the world for the exceptional standards of training they offer to prospective carers.

The school is more than 125 years old and teaches students to sew, cook and change nappies, as well as offering classes in self-defence and first-aid.

The famous school also teaches real-life Mary Poppins how to escape terrorists and kidnappers alongside traditional childcare.

Graduates of the three-year course often wear their smart brown uniform.

Royal commentator Victoria Murphy told ABC News: "The nannies are taught everything from defensive driving to security issues, to how to care for a future king or queen.

"So [Maria] just really knows everything that you could possibly need to know about bringing up a child."

When was Kate's third child born?

On Monday April 23, Kate Middleton gave birth to a baby boy weighing 8lb, 7oz at St Mary's Hospital.

Prince William was by the Duchess of Cambridge's side to welcome their third child at 11.01am in the Lindo Wing of the Paddington hospital.

The Royal family are said to be delighted with the news, with the Queen informed of the fifth-in-line to the throne's arrival.

In a statement, Kensington Palace said: "Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs. The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz.

"The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.

"Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well."
