A young woman is charging brides £125-an-hour to be the secret maid of honour at weddings.

After being a guest at 17 different weddings in two years, married Tiffany Wright, from London, realised there was a gap in the already-saturated market for someone with the sole job is to calm down the bride.

When the wedding planner is busy talking to vendors and the bridesmaids are having their own makeup done for the big day, Tiffany says there is no one to help run errands for the bride.

So in April 34-year-old 'romance expert' Tiffany, who also runs a business helping men propose to their girlfriends - set up The Undercover Bridesmaid.

She charges £125 an hour to brides for her wedding help services(SWNS)

Charging from £750 for six hours work, her duties as an undercover bridesmaid include dealing with family dramas, refilling the bride's water glass and even being the first on the dance floor.

She also offers services such as hen do organising and maid of honour speeches and says she is a 'better' bridesmaid than any of the brides' pals.

Tiffany has already been an undercover bridesmaid twice and has lined up four more events next year.
