BIOX, 02 Mar 2024Soon will celebrate mine's sixth birthday. It is like... moreMine having 6th birthday in may 24. Gone thorough some rough repairs 3 times screen replacement, WiFi signal lost 50 % strength after first repair and now have power button assembly jumpered as well.
But I still can't figure out any alternative. Only issue is android 7 which prevents loading newer apps. I'd love to keep using it if it updates to android 13.

Soon will celebrate mine's sixth birthday. It is like a family member to me. Never changed anything. Jumps from the ground like a parkour master, swim better than me, voice louder than Lady Gaga. What a legend!

Jigs, 10 Oct 2023The only issue is there are no sytem updates hence not comp... moreI Installed custom Android 13 on mine. Works like a charm, all modern apps work perfectly. Why don't you do that too? It's easy with Xiaomi's flashtool. Works on Linux, Mac and Windows.

Just can't disown , one of the best , unfortunately without updates it's not no more than a junk box , many new apps don't work , so app crashes the OS, putting the phone in continuing boot loop , I must have done a factory reset 8-10 times to keep my phone running , have identified some apps which crashes my phone , so after reset I uninstall those and a few more to keep my phone running

The only issue is there are no sytem updates hence not compatible with many updated applications.

In my opinion this phone Mi Max 2 is the best in its class as someone just said that only after 4 years the battery is changed which i have also done, otherwise No issues no hang ups or any sort of problem its just CLASS BY its Own. very good product of Xiaomi and its like a pebble in hand, and also the after sales service is good. Thanks Xiaomi

This is the best phone! Still running perfectly, still lasting days, great sound, love the screen ratio and so do so many other people. I wish Xiaomi would listen and bring it back. Just starting to have Android-7-too-old issues. However, I found a custom 13 ROM online so will jump to that if things keep getting dropped on 7.

I purchased 20 November 2017 and it's running till today almost going to six years complete without any problem. Last year I changed battery first time. I love max 2 .

xiaomi stopped this mobile because millions of people bought it and stopped buying their other products. it is a shame to stop the best phone ever built.
