vivo X100s gets benchmarked with Dimensity 9300+

Yordan, 29 April 2024

The vivo X100s is really happening, revealed Boxiao Han, a product manager at the company. The phone will have a Dimensity 9300+ chipset with an even more powerful Cortex-X4 core with 3.4 GHz frequency and better AI performance, the executive stated.

The post was accompanied by a bunch of benchmark results, revealing the Dimensity 9300+ holds an edge over the 9300 in the CPU department.

The phone will support AI for image editing, Han revealed. vivo shared five photos on its Weibo profile, claiming only the last one with the green surrounding is the real one – the rest were generated by AI. The green one also gives us uneasy vibes, and we wouldn't be surprised to find out that it was also doctored.

The vivo X100s will launch in May. We expect the chipset to be the main difference from the vivo X100 devices, but more excitingly the S lineup will also include an Ultra model. On the outside, we might get a flat frame, slightly changing the overall appearance.
