Huawei sets a global launch event for May 7, no mention of Pura 70 smartphones

Pura 70 (vanilla) is going to be global, there's already ada on countries like Mexico going on sale for about $1500 ish dollars with special packages (another Pura 70 or a Matebook)

It's not an official source at all (click on the profile of the author). Huawei never said they sold 30 million Mate devices. They certainly sold a large number but they haven't stated how many. It's just a website that focuses on stories about Huawei, but is not connected to Huawei at all. Check the about information on the website. That article was based on a weibo post by a weibo blogger not connected to Huawei. Many other Weibo bloggers came out later and said it was fake. Basically, we don't know how many they shipped unless it is confirmed by Huawei themselves or other official sources

In any case they didn't sell 30 million mate 60 series devices as they sold between 30-40 million smartphones in total in 2023. The mate 60 series is still out of stock in Huawei stores in China as they don't have enough supply

                        I saw some samples from Pura 70 Ultra on Twitter and many were praising how ridiculously good it is at freezing motions when shooting photos - Their new XD Motion image processing algorithms are, quite frankly speaking, pretty insane and it's amazing how they figured out the way to essentially "reconstruct" a sharp final image from a pair of short and long exposure frames. Huawei is absolutely pushing the boundaries of what a phone camera could do, and it would be very disappointing to see the Pura 70 series not being released globally.

                            The pura series will luanch globally because tech reviewers from my country Saudi Arabia got invited to china last week to review pura 70 and advertise it. No way Huawei woulf invite them if they're not planning on global release.

Maybe you are referring to 2023 where their total smartphone sales were over 30 million. The predictions for the Pura 70 that gsmarena quoted were 10 million but that is over the whole year. The devices are coming in dribs and drabs as SMIC has limited manufacturing capacity so the Kirin processors can't be made in sufficient numbers. Therefore the phones are always out of stock in China. There is a huge demand for them but the supply can no where near meet the demand.

Our unit came with EMUI 14 out of the box, and has the latest security update.

                                      And numbers dont match with data of phones sold in China.
