iPad Pro OLED models are experiencing HDR color bug, fix incoming

Michail, 14 May 2024

The new OLED iPad Pros are experiencing a color reproduction bug when displaying HDR content. The issue is appearing on both the 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro models and shows blown-out blue colors that appear to have patches of white streaks on them. This appears to be an issue with the image-processing engine.

Apple has already acknowledged the issue and is actively working on a fix which is set to arrive with the next version of iPadOS. There is no immediate time frame for when this fix will arrive. Appleā€™s new iPad Pro models are set to go on open sale tomorrow.
