Paratype, KAUMM 199, female, 27.6 + 7.9 mm, Al Lith, Saudi Arabia, Red Sea: A: the origin of posterior nostril about equal to orbit and to the origin of anterior nostril, the origin of nostrils and the edge of orbit outlined; B: 1–2 rows of cycloid scales extends above opercle. C: Paratype, PMR VP5272, male, 24.1 + 6.7 mm, Al Lith, Saudi Arabia, Red Sea, the scales ending anterior at line between upper pectoral-fin base and first dorsal fin origin.
