Now that her two boys are officially teenagers, Britney Spears is reflecting on her experience trying to balance being a young mom in her early 20s with her career as one of the biggest pop stars in the world.

The singer shared an old family photo on her Instagram account on Wednesday showing herself in a bikini hanging out at a hotel pool with her two sons with ex Kevin Federline, Jayden James and Sean Preston, when the boys were just toddlers. She wrote in the caption, “I had my babies very young…at all the pools we went to on tours, all the babies flocked to me because I always brought the the most toys…I really am a baby mamma!!!!” Spears was just 24 years old when she gave birth to her first child, Preston, and 25 when Jayden was born.

In March, Spears wrote another social media tribute to her sons, praising the young men they’ve grown up to be. Alongside a photo of the three of them together in front of a sunset, she wrote, “It’s so crazy how time flies....My boys are so big now!!!! I know…I know…it’s very hard for any mama especially a mama with boys seeing them grow up so fast !!!! Talk about enough to make you go to your knees ... GEEZ !!!! I’m extremely lucky because my two babies are such gentleman and so kind that I must have done something right!!!!” She went on to explain why her fans haven’t seen much of Preston and Jayden on her account over the years, writing, “I haven’t posted pictures of them for some time cause they’re at the age where they want to express their own identities and I totally get it....But I went out of my way to make this cool edit and guess what....They’re finally letting me post it!!! Now I don’t feel left out anymore and I’m gonna go celebrate....Oh shit I guess cool moms don’t do that...Ok I’ll just read a book instead.”
