The Beguiled Director Sofia Coppola’s Greatest Style Moments

At the 70th annual Cannes Film Festival, Sofia Coppola promoted the debut of her newest film, The Beguiled. Her black, fringe-based skirt suit and black pumps fit naturally among the stylish looks of models and actresses.

At the Cannes Festival, Sofia opted to dress down with loose fitting, wide-leg jeans and Ferragamo shoes.

For the Cannes anniversary dinner, Coppola wore a modest black dress with a tight collar, cinched upper body, and pink floral designs throughout.

Following Cartier's black-and-gold themed affair, Coppola wore a sheer, black dress with a pleated skirt and topped off the outfit with recycled gold wedges. (She wore the same shoes a year earlier at Cartier's Fifth Avenue reopening.)

Loyal to her monochromatic style, she wore a gold Marc Jacobs evening dress to the 2017 Met Gala. We have no idea whether she participated in the congregational smoking event in the woman's bathroom.

She wore a white blouse, cinched at the waist with elbow-length sleeves to Cartier's Fifth Avenue reopening event at the Cartier Mansion. Showing support for Cartier, Sofia also wore gold wedges.

In a gorgeous Valentino dress, Coppola attended the premiere of her first opera, "La Traviata" in Rome, Italy, hosted by—of course—Valentino.

She looked classic at the Louis Vuitton Exhibition "Volez, Voguez, Voyagez" in a simple LBD with a red coat hung over her shoulders.

Arriving at the Palazzo Fendi and Zuma inauguration in a chic fur coat over a traditional black jumper and black floral ankle strap wedges.

Venturing outside her color palate, Coppola chose a bright pink, sheer, leopard-patterned blouse while on the streets of New York City for the Marc Jacobs Spring fashion show.

Here Sofia attends the premiere for her Netflix film, A Very Murray Christmas. For the event she switched up her usual look—although remaining true to her favorites, gold and black—with a sequined gold blouse which hung down over her black pants, and wedges.
