The Red Dottyback fish is found throughout the Indo-Malayam Archipelago, from southern Japan, south to the Northwest Shelf of Australia, and east to New Ireland, Papua New Guinea. They are also commonly known as Red Grouper, Dampiera Dottyback and Fire-tail Devil. The Red Dottyback is a member of the Pseudochromidae family.  The Red Dottyback  needs a tank with plenty of hiding places such as crevices or caves to take refuge or hide when stressed or frightened.

I love this Red Dottyback! Pictures don’t compare to the live fish. The new addition improves my saltwater water aquarium. Everyone loves it.
