Husbandry know-how of owners

Ich halte zwei dieser wunderschönen Tiere seit mehr als zwei Jahren auf 2000 Litern. Sie sind sehr dankbar in der Pflege, fressen jedes Frostfutter, das von der Größe halbwegs passt und wachsen stetig aber doch eher langsam. Sie sind riffsicher und überhaupr nicht territorial. Bisher habe ich keinerlei Aggressionen gegenüber irgendeinem Mitbewohner, auch nicht bei Neuzugängen beobachten können. Allerdings sollten sie nicht unter Stress geraten. Ihr oben beschriebenes Gift hat mich leider vor kurzem 2/3 meines Fischbesatzes gekostet. Beide Seifenbarsche waren selbst auch arg angeschlagen, haben jedoch überlebt. Zusammenfassend ein sehr schöner, nicht schwer zu haltender Fisch, allerdings mit dem Risiko der Giftabsonderung, das nicht zu unterschätzen ist!
