I keep wishing for Halichoeres rubricephalus

and Paracheilinus attenuatus

but no one seems to be collecting them.
Among the reef has them. Granted they aren’t cheap.

They are certainly not known for being as easy as a Sixline. These guys are much harder to settle into captivity than a sixline as they’re susceptible to any stress when in a new environment. They can also have periods like you say where they look like they may be about to die however this is uncommon IME.

Their reputation is heavily on the finicky side of things as well as being very shy when establishing. My three were always shy of me but now all 3 of them will come out for a bit to almost ‘say hello’ to me.
I think mine might be a Pseudocheilinus in disguise. It has none of those attributes. Bold (if a bit too bold) and easy right from the start.

ATR doesn’t have any fish right now. The fish listed on their site are what they had in the past. Eric is focusing on his Tank Stop site now so not sure what’s going to happen with ATR.

I love me some wrasse's, so I want to see everyone's wrasse pictures! Please share!

I've been practicing my fish taking.. Snapped a decent one of my Naoko Wrasse, still need to polish up on my skills though!

My melanurus Wrasse. Looking to get a replacement centerpiece fish since my tang died. Maybe a second wrasse. Sorry this is a photo of when i bought it. Slightly fattened up and grown a little but yeah.

Pseudojuloides atavai
Xenojulis margaritaceus
The False-stick I fear
The Strange-wood pearlescent

(julis and juloides are apparently referring to specific fish but I prefer the google translate of just stick and wood)
