What success rate have you had keeping Blue Jaw Tilefish(Hoplolatilus starcki) ? I had a few for about a month but ick hit my tank and wiped them out. Any have long term success?

These guys are generally really easy among the Hoplolatilus genus. Most will die due to jumping over feeding issues, one thing to look out for in this genus is any sign of disease. These guys are rather more difficult to get through QT due to them often suffering harm from copper being raised. I don’t believe I know of anyone with long term success but those who own Hoplolatilus of any species don’t seem to mention it and not many seem to own them IME.
