Lotilia graciliosa is cool, but uber tiny and expensive. It pairs with a specific pistol, too.

Cryptocentrus aurora is really pretty, and looks nice with a candycane pistol, as does Stonogobiops yasha.

Randalls and yellow watchman gobies are good larger standards, with tiger pistols.

I had a yashia goby with my pistol shrimp. He was a cool little guy. I might still have him but can't be sure since they may relocated from the burrow they had at the front of the tank. I can still hear the pistol shrimp at night but I haven't seen either of them in a couple of months.

Yeah i had a randall's before i tore down my 34 and we now have one in our 330 without a pistol shrimp and we have an aurora goby and tiger pistol in the 60. Their super sweet to watch so i was lookin for something different than those gobies. and a watchman would be just a little big for a 34 cube imo

I have a yasha w/Randall's. They pretty much just hide all the time :squigglemouth:

He is beautiful when he comes out during dinner time.

I think that picture just might have convinced me! haha tose look great! What size tank do you have? and i heard watchmen gobys sometimes tear tanks apart.. any experiences with this??

I have a 30 gallon tank...I've had them for about 3 years, never had a problem with them ever.

I have a yasha Goby with a pistol shrimp. Thought he was a goner at first didnt see him for almost a month. Then he started coming out more and added a pistol shrimp. Acclimated him and added him right were the yasha was, they paired up. Its a great goby/shrimp combo

that picture is an older picture of them..they are a mated pair, the smaller one is about 2 inches and the other is a little bigger. Ill try and take some new pics of them tonight.
