No, I don't mean species like the Yellow or Green Coris Wrasse. I mean species of the coris genus, like coris gaimard, coris fromosa, coris aguyla, etc. We see the juveniles & females a lot, but many don't know about the true males of the species. Usually never see them because of how big they are as males. If you have non-males, send pics too. Also, I know @evolved made a post about wrasses' lifespan, but he never mentioned a coris wrasses' life span & I really want to know.

Wow this is really interesting. I have a red coris wrasse that is currently transitioning from juvenile coloration, so its fascinating to watch new colors and spots pop up. Recently, I was reading about Lennardi wrasses and didn't realize how dimorphic the terminal male coloration was. We usually see the female coloration, so I was surprised by how different the males look.
