If you need a little motivation to get your butt into workout mode this week, let Britney Spears be your guru. The 36-year-old flaunted her insanely chiseled abs during an at-home workout session, and all we have to say is—wow. But really, the superstar's workout regimen is surprisingly simple and can be easily done in the comfort of your own home, with just a few pieces of equipment.

“Long workout today!!!,” Spears captioned on her Instagram exercise video, set to the tune of Selena Gomez’s "Bad Liar." “@selenagomez definitely helped me get through it.”

During her grueling workout, which Spears made look freakishly effortless because she is a fitness goddess, the mother-of-two engaged in several different moves to tone and strengthen her entire body.

Using moderately light-looking weights, she started her workout with a series of arm and shoulder exercises. They included lateral raises and shoulder presses, all great for toning the upper body. She also used an exercise step to infuse some cardio and leg work into her strength routine.

Next, the star revealed the secret to her rock hard abs: BOSU ball crunches. For those who have never used a BOSU ball, it’s a great way to take your ab exercises to the next level. The ball adds instability, forcing you to recruit more muscles to balance your body.

Spears topped off her workout with some seriously impressive jump rope moves. While most of us think of jumping rope as a childhood activity, it’s actually a killer calorie burner. In just 15 minutes, you can shave off hundreds of calories, while reaping the benefits of a full-body workout.

While Spears describes her workout session as "long," her mini-regimen is a great example for anyone looking for a quick and effective total-body workout you can do at home. Even if you do several sets, you can probably get the whole thing done in very little time.

In case you need a little more #Britspiration, consider following the pop singer on Instagram. Her feed is filled with lots of workout and dance videos, and of course, photos of her abs.
