World Naked Bike Ride 2023 rolls across Portland

Hundreds of cyclists gathered at Irving Park to begin the annual Naked Bike Ride on World Naked Bike ride day.

The Naked Bike Ride is more of a protest than a parade. Many are participating in order to raise awareness about the dangers of oil dependency, cyclist safety, and bodily autonomy for all.

The route for the event is kept a secret until the day of. This year, participants traveled from Irvington to Southeast Portland, ending at Mt. Tabor Park for a fun-filled afterparty.
