Rock star Travis Barker is currently on tour with Blink-182, helping former punk kids relive their glory days all over the world. Although the band's most recent gig in the United Kingdom appears to have been an especial rager.

On Sunday, October 15, after previously posting a selfie following the band's arrival in Manchester where they would be performing, Barker shared an image on his Instagram Story that was so graphic the social media platform concealed it with a content warning for particularly sensitive followers.

In the first image, the drummer showed off his injured left hand, which was covered in blood and swollen, with skinned knuckles. He didn't offer any context or explanation for the wince-inducing injury, although it's possible he sustained it on-stage. In the next photo, Barker shows the blood stains on his black jeans in the aftermath of the gore.

Check out the photo below. But be warned, it's not for the faint of heart.

This is far from the first time Barker has mangled his hand during a high-energy Blink set. In a 2021 interview with Men's Health, he recalled how he has been supergluing cuts closed on his damaged hands for more than two decades.

"I definitely do push my body," he said. "I know that it's resilient."

Following a traumatic experience in 2008, when he was the sole survivor of a plane crash, Barker has spent the last 16 years embracing a pragmatic, live-for-the-day approach to health setbacks.

"There’s a million things that could happen to me," he said. "I could die riding my skateboard. I could get in a car accident. I could get shot. Anything could happen."
