PEARLY DARTFISH

Groups are common over silty sand and rubble near coral reefs.  Black dash on operculum, red soft dorsal and caudal margin.  Attains 5.5 inches.  Red Sea to Okinawa and the Tuamotus, excluding Hawai'i.
