PINK-SPOTTED SHRIMPGOBY

Inhabits burrows with the commensal shrimp Alpheus on muddy sand in lagoons and mangroves.  Numerous pink and blue marks on head and back, third brown bar extends to anal fin, not the belly as with C. melanopus.  Attains 4 inches.  Indonesia to Okinawa, Micronesia, and Fiji.
