Description
The Stocky Anthias Male has a light orange body with a small dark orange mark on its dorsal fin. Its fins are more long flowing than the female of the species. The Stocky Anthias gets its name from its thick body.
This Stocky Anthias is moderately easy to take care of and will do well in reef tanks and fish-only systems. Have ample swimming area in the upper regions of the tank for these active fish. Keep only one per tank or one male with several females in a much larger tank. Have plenty of live rock with good shelter areas.
Feed your anthias a varied diet, including small meaty frozen food such as mysis and enriched brine shrimp. Try to transition your anthias to Formula One Ocean Nutrition Small Pellets and Flakes
