Millie Bobby Brown, the 19-year-old actress known for her role in "Stranger Things," gave an update on her wedding planning with fiancé Jake Bongiovi, son of legendary rocker Jon Bon Jovi. The couple announced their engagement in April after dating for two years. Brown revealed that wedding planning has been anything but stressful, thanks to Bongiovi's involvement in the process.

"Jake is very involved, he's very helpful during the whole process," Brown shared on the "Today" show. "I've never felt alone in it, which is very nice." She added that the wedding will be an intimate day for the both of them, and they are both excited about it.

Regarding her future father-in-law's potential performance at the wedding, Brown stated that Jon Bon Jovi will not be taking to the stage. She explained: "I think the man needs a break, he doesn't stop...He's always doing tennis or singing lessons. I think he needs a break, maybe it's a three-hour break." Brown also joked that having Bon Jovi perform would be wild and that she doesn't know if he'll be able to do just that.

Millie also shared details about her engagement ring, which Bongiovi proposed with. The ring was actually given to him by Brown's mother, Kelly. "I've always loved that ring, it's always stuck out to me, so she gave it to Jake," Brown explained. "They were in cahoots about the whole proposal. I love that I can always keep a piece of my mum with me."

They are engaged after two years of dating

The couple met and fell in love quickly, with Brown sharing that she knew Bongiovi was "the one" from the moment she met him. "After we met we knew we never wanted to leave each other's side," she said. "You can't pinpoint why, it's just the feeling of knowing that that's the person you want to spend the rest of your time with."

Overall, it seems that wedding planning is going smoothly for Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi. With Bongiovi's involvement and support, Brown is feeling confident and excited about their upcoming nuptials. And while Jon Bon Jovi won't be performing at the wedding, his presence as a guest will surely add to the already special day.
