This creates a wider weld profile, allowing for stronger welds and better fusion between the base metal and filler material. 2. ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: Buttering is employed to repair or restore worn-out or damaged parts. By adding material through buttering, welders can restore the original dimensions of the component and enhance its strength. 3. ๐๐ถ๐๐๐ถ๐บ๐ถ๐น๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ท๐ผ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด: When joining dissimilar metals, buttering is used to create a transition layer between the two materials.
