Paul the Psychic Ocotopus Receives Death Threat Recipes

Poor Paul the Psychic Octopus. Once he was almost a mascot for the German soccer team (i.e., when they were winning), but now that Paul's prediction of Spain beating Germany to the finals has become a reality, he has been receiving death threats in the form of recipes sent to his home at Oberhausen Sea Life Aquarium. His keepers say they won't let anyone eat Paul, although this video of hungry German soccer fans below leads us to believe they may not have a choice.

Argentinian chef Nicolas Bedorrou recommends the following for Paul: "We will chase him and put him on some paper. We will then beat him in order to keep the meat tender and then put him in boiling water." (Paul correctly guess that Germany would beat Argentina in the quarter-finals.) Paul has Spain for the win over the Netherlands in the final on Sunday, so perhaps we'll see what sorts of Dutch dishes lend themselves to octopus should his prediction once again prove correct.
