There's no denying that Britney Spears is an icon living among us. And, just when we thought she couldn't get anymore iconic, she went ahead about out-iconned herself by doing a workout to her! own! music! Not only that, but the track in question really is the cherry on top of this already fabulous cake. Yep, it's Work Bitch.

In the clip, which Britney shared with her 39.4 million followers on Instagram, she starts her workout with a warmup, stretching her neck and shoulders. After that she really gets stuck in with some up and down planks followed by some overhead (and side-to-side) yoga ball raises.

Working up a bit of a sweat, the singer heads outside for some lifting, before heading back into the gym for some reverse crunches and weightlifting. Clearly a big fan of the yoga ball, Britney utilises it again for some sit ups and more stretches, then hops onto the treadmill for a hit of cardio.

Needing a moment to cool off from her sweat sesh, the 40-year-old brings her mat out to the garden again for some ab exercises, a bit of yoga and a final stretch. Anyone else tired just thinking about all that?

"Yellow caution ⚠️ !!! Here I go", she captioned the post, to which her personal trainer fiancé Sam Asghari replied: "Wow 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽".

Elsewhere in the comments section, fans praised the singer for her impressive workout, and her choice of workout music certainly did not go unnoticed. "It's the 'let me workout to my own song' for me honey", commented one fan, with another putting: "How iconic to use her own song? Legend."

A third Instagrammer said "FINALLY YOU'VE REMEMBERED YOU GOT A WORKOUT SONG", while someone else commented: "Love when you use your own ICONIC song".

This isn't the first time the Work Bitch singer has given her fans a glimpse at what she gets up to in the gym. Earlier this month she shared another iconic video of her fitness regime on Instagram – again, wearing sunglasses inside the gym.

"Girl with shades on in the gym… if you’ve never done it before, I suggest you do… It was my first time and it actually enhances the movement," she wrote in the caption.

Sunglasses in the gym? If it's good enough for Britney, it's good enough for us tbh.
