at the 2nd of October 2009, UNESCO will formally announce that Batik is the world heritage belongs to Indonesia. this poster is my expression for that great news.

i use the Parang Rusak's motive as the symbolization for the people of Indonesia, who would holding hands, together to show the world how we would like the world to know that this Batik is indeed our original cultures. 



the peacock picked as the main visual since it is one of the most drawn animal, no matter from which origin is that Batik cloth came from. Here i drew my own version of Batik's peacock by combining the style of Pekalongan, Tuban and some influence of Batik Semen too.
