JAKARTA - Five Minutes decided to part with Ali Sabat. That way, the vocal position in the band from Bandung is empty.

Meanwhile, the announcement of Ali Sabat's release was broadcast through the official Five Minutes Instagram account. The vocalist who joined since 2022 officially left the band on January 23.

"As of January 23, 2024, we FIVE MINUTES announced that ALI SABAT is no longer filling the vocal position at the FIVE MINUTES band," reads the announcement on the Five Minutes Instagram account, Thursday, February 15.

However, Five Minutes declined to mention the reason Ali Sabat left the band. They also have not decided to look for a replacement for the current vacant vocal position.

"By not reducing respect, we discontinue ALI SABAT for reasons we cannot disclose to the public," wrote Five Minutes.

"For Indonesian music lovers, especially FIVERS Indonesia, please pray and support so that we can reshape the best formation to produce better works," he concluded.

With the exit of Ali Sabat, currently Five Minutes is filled with four remaining personnel, namely Roelhilman (guitar), Drie Warnanta (bass), Ricky (keyboards), and Aria Yudhistira (drums).
