These are my control Settings for Elite! I´m using mostly the first one cause I´m using Elite in VR.
It´s awesome btw.. xD But back to the second pic.. it´s an alternative version.. maybe for ideas,
a template or maybe... maybe the perfect control settings just for your needs. hope you like it.

Control Settings Nr.1 (Combat, Universal)

This one is made for combat but I never changed it back, really love it in VR or 2D.
You can see that it´s mostly for heavy combat, I use it with the Anaconda,
Clipper, Cutter, ASP, Eagle and Courier (cause of the awesome view in VR)

Control Settings Nr.2 (Cargo, Universal)

This one is used mostly for long and heavy cargo missions. It was perfect until i got the HMD.
It´s still useful and I would use it again. It is a lil bit different but mainly the same as Nr.1!

Control Settings Nr.3 (Original Profile by Frontier)

This is the original mapping from Frontier and I only kept like 10%....
It isn´t very useful in combat and maaany functions are missing!!

And all that cables and pedals on the floor are for the amps and guitars. The Logitech
Hardware got good cable management like the PC. The Mixer cause I need 12 Inputs!

Its soooo awesome in VR!! but I'm doing alright with the motion controllers with the Quest 2! Its pretty much the same as using an Xbox pad!
Love the feeling of flying around space in VR

@nRise i gladly give you some advice (send FR to be able to send PM) on setting up your x52. the suggestion is to do it in-game and not via the h.o.t.a.s. softwar tool. Because ED is very well layed out and prepared for the x52.

only do it over the hotas sofware if you want to change modes... but this isn't really needed.

nice! i use almost the same settings for my h.o.a.t.s. x52pro and i was thinking about setting up my 923 steering for it. Havn't done it yet as i move to a new (and bigger) home soon. but after that i will do it :D

I'm just starting Ed using vr .is the bottom layout the Ed default one and is it good enough for me to start out .

I use a Logitech Attack 3 best feature is the throttle analogue and the stick has a great build quality and it's really comfortable imo.
