Passion Blog: A State of gLee

Everyone is passionate about something. Whether it is sports, the arts, politics or a simple idea, everyone is motivated at some point in their lives. For me, I am in love with music and performing. Being that I play the piano and enjoy singing and dancing, music has always been an important part of my life. When Fox aired the musical comedy-drama television show Glee for the first time, I became obsessed with it.  The way the characters interact and how each and every episode unfolds with a significant message is mesmerizing. Their interpretation of various musical hits and “mash-ups” of different songs always find a way on my iPod.

For my Passion Blog, I have chosen to highlight my favorite television and summarize each episode weekly. Additionally, I will post YouTube videos relating to their performances and address whatever social issue comes up in that episode. In the past, Glee has touched on sexuality, teenage pregnancy, and domestic violence, just to name a few.

From these posts, I hope that my fellow readers can engage in the social issues portrayed in the episodes and also enjoy a different version of new, popular songs as well! Tonight, September 13th, season four begins so please look out for my first post discussing the start of the new season!
