Ctenogobiops tangaroai é uma espécie de peixe da família Gobiidae e da ordem Perciformes.[5]

Habitat[editar | editar código-fonte]

É um peixe marítimo, de clima tropical (22 °C-25 °C)[8] e associado aos recifes de coral que vive entre 4–40 m de profundidade.[6][9]

Distribuição geográfica[editar | editar código-fonte]

É encontrado em: Oceano Pacífico: Ilhas do Almirantado, Samoa Americana, Austrália, China, Guam, Indonésia, Japão (incluindo nas Ilhas Ryukyu), Palau, Papua-Nova Guiné, nas Filipinas, Samoa, Taiwan e Tonga.[10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26]

É inofensivo para os humanos.[6]
