Hugh Hefner’s ex Karissa Shannon claims she aborted his baby, sex was ‘like rape’

Former Playboy playmate Karissa Shannon claims she is “happy” she aborted her unborn child with Hugh Hefner, alleging that having sex with the late media mogul was “like rape.”

“I felt disgusted with my body,” the now-32-year-old said on Monday’s episode of A&E’s docuseries, “Secrets of Playboy,” according to People.

“I felt like there was something like an alien inside me. I was grossed out. I just wanted to get it over with.”

Shannon, who allegedly found out she was pregnant when she was 19 and Hefner was 84, claimed that “every time” she had sex with him, she considered it “assault.”

“To me, it’s like rape,” she said. “He used control mechanisms completely through everything, so I’m happy that I had the abortion.”

The model and her sister, Kristina Shannon, were famously known as the “Playboy Twins.”

They were recruited for Playboy when they were 18, and claimed on the A&E series that they naively thought, “Hell no,” in regards to Hefner “sleeping with [all] these women.”

However, Karissa and Kristina agreed that they realized what they had gotten themselves into once they moved into the Playboy Mansion. Kendra Wilkinson allegedly invited them to smoke marijuana in Hefner’s bedroom for their 19th birthday but then “ghosted” them.

The sisters further claim that once Hefner was in the room, he offered the women a pill to calm their nerves.

Karissa said they allegedly felt “really f—ed up … the most inebriated we’ve ever been.”

Kristina noted she and her twin had “never had a threesome together before, we would never want to,” to which Kristina added, “And that was our 19th birthday. You’re never going to forget that.”

Karissa painted a visual of what it was like for them sleeping with Hefner, saying on the doc, per People, “Just imagine this, just his old hand kind of shakes [as he’s] touching your boob. It’s like you’re having sex with your grandpa. And he laid there, looking up, and he was like, ‘My babies, my babies. You love me.'”

“After that night, I didn’t feel like my body was mine anymore. Like, I felt used, disgusted,” Kristina claimed, with Karissa adding, “Both of us said, ‘He’s going straight to Hell.’”

Despite their feelings about having sex with Hefner, the sisters remained living in the Playboy Mansion and rose to fame as centerfolds and reality stars on “The Girls Next Door.”

They claim they were “drunk every night” to try to “deal” with the magazine publisher.

Kristina claimed they both caught chlamydia at one point, alleging they were told by Hefner’s longtime assistant, Mary O’Connor, “’Well, that’s what happens when you’re sexually active.’”

“We freaked out!” the model added. “When she said, ‘STDs are normal when you’re sexually active,’ we’re like, ‘Everyone’s out of their mind here.'”

The twins said they vowed to never have sex with Hefner again after that, but claim he told them if they “loved him and we wanted to be his girlfriends, then we have to have sexual encounters with him.”

After allegedly having sex with Hefner only two mores time after that, Karissa claimed she discovered she was pregnant with his child when she took a blood test in preparation for plastic surgery.

The model said she didn’t want anyone to know, including Hefner or O’Connor.

“I didn’t want him to know that I was pregnant,” Karissa alleged. “I didn’t want him to want me to have it. I didn’t want to be stuck even more inside that bubble. I think it’s a way for him to control me even more, have me on a leash.”

People notes that A&E flashes a disclaimer during their series that states: ”The vast majority of allegations have not been the subject of criminal investigations or charges, and they do not constitute proof of guilt.”

In February, Karissa claimed in a separate interview that there was no way anyone else fathered her unborn child.

“I wasn’t having sex with anyone else, so it only could have been his baby,” she insisted to the Mirror. “I just wanted to get rid of it as soon as possible.”

Karissa and Kristina also claimed they’ve suffered PTSD and depression as a result of the two years they lived with Hefner in his mansion. They’re allegedly planning to sue Playboy for emotional distress and trauma

Ahead of the release of the 10-part “Secrets of Playboy” series, Playboy issued a statement responding to the “abhorrent” allegations made in the doc.

“First and foremost, we want to say: we trust and validate women and their stories, and we strongly support the individuals who have come forward to share their experiences,” an open letter posted on its website said in part.

“As a brand with sex positivity at its core, we believe safety, security and accountability are paramount, and anything less is inexcusable.”

“Today’s Playboy is not Hugh Hefner’s Playboy,” the statement added. Hefner died in 2017 at age 91.
