    Trophic Strategy
    Very common in shallow lagoon and semi-protected seaward reefs. Juveniles are common in thickets of staghorn Acropora corals. Increase of piscivory with age is observed in this species. Feeds on crustaceans, fish and benthic invertebrates . Also Ref. 58652.
