Labroides pectoralis

Yellowish head. Dark horizontal stripe to the body rear is black and covers the entire top of the body. Black pectoral spot.

Size : 8 cm

Habitat : Prefers to inhabit clear, coral-rich outreefs, also in lagoons, 2-28 m. Like other cleaner wrasse, feeds on skin parasites of other fish.

Distribution : Cocos Keeling and Christmas Islands to S Japan, Micronesia, Line Islands and Pitcairn.
