Middle of side is often yellowish, three irregular green vertical stripes.

Size : 11 cm

Habitat : Coral-rich lagoons, bays and outreefs,1-20 m. Usually in groups or large schools, feeds in the open water for zooplankton, also feeds on blanket-weed algae.

Distribution : Malaysia and Singapore to SW Japan, Micronesia, Samoa, NW Australia and GBR.
