Han Geng (born February 9, 1984), better known in Korea as Hankyung, is a Chinese pop singer, and actor. He is the only Chinese member of the large boy band Super Junior and the leader of its subgroup Super Junior-M. He is regarded as one of the four lead dancers of Super Junior and is also one of the two members in the group who frequently performs Chinese martial arts in Super Junior's dance routines, the other being Sungmin. Han is well-known for his dancing, being particularly skillful in Chinese traditional dances from the 56 minority Chinese ethnic groups.As a member of a Korean music group, he is an important contributor to the Korean wave in China. Han was also a torch bearer for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, being the first boy band member to be chosen in history.

Hankyung: He is always praised about his cooking skills. He was in a hotel cooking once and he only found onion, eggs, and rice. So he used those to cook. All the members praised him and asked him what is the name of this dish due to his poor Korean at that time. He wanted to say EGG FRIED RICE but instead he said BEIJING FRIED RICE. According to a witness, Han Kyung, who has lately been in China doing activities, encountered a so-called fan that wanted to give him a gift during his ride back to the hotel after recording a television program. The fan’s fluentless Chinese created doubts within the staff. When the fan gave them the present and cake, the fan requested to have a picture with the idol. The staff were afraid that Han Kyung would be harmed and politely rejected the fan, using Han Kyung being sick as an excuse. After Han Kyung’s polite apology, the staff immediately brought him back to the hotel. As they got back, the staff opened the present together and discovered that inside the box contained small bags full of blood. There was also a sharp knife and a stabbed picture of Han Kyung. Han Kyung immediately understood that this was done by an anti-fan, and after several testings of the cake, it was concluded that the cake contained a nameless poisonous powder.

Poor Hankyung when he first debuted with Suju. These are some of the news on him that I managed to find on ShenYuePop.com

1. Once, in Han Kyung birthday celebration, an anti managed to get into the party, and ended up yelled at him on the stage to crawl back to China.

2. The matter of antiness is worsen by the super-affectionate relationship Han Kyung has with Hee Chul. This is one method that SM has purposely allowed for more promotion. Unfortunately, in the extremely conservative Korea, the audience feels extremely offensive towards Han Kyung’s actions. Anti-fans attacked, posting negative messages on Han Kyung’s website, saying that Han Kyung should return to China to raises horses instead along with other extremely hurtful comments.
