Mimic tang

Is there a difference between a yellow mimic and a lemon peel mimic? Lfs has a yellow but it does not have the blue eyes nor the blue along the ridge of his fins.

In which case it is the Chocolate Mimic I believe, as opposed to the Lemonpeel Mimic. Same species, different colour forms.

Here are a couple pics of my Lemonpeel Mimic when it was small and now, just for comparison.

That's a stunning transformation. I think the mimics are a really interesting species.

No it is bright yellow with no other markings or color but I think you are right it it not a lemon peel mimic.

There is also a lemon tang that looks pretty similar, but never loses its coloration.
